Occupy Wall Street

While New Yorkers were focused on what happened on the Brooklyn Bridge this weekend, people in cities across the U.S. started their own Occupy protests.

They're all being organized separately, but umbrella website OccupyTogether.org is tracking all planning meetings and protest launches.

We took a look at protests in some of the biggest cities and put together an overview for you here. Plus, there's a look ahead. The protestors want to go International.

Occupy Chicago

Occupy Chicago started on September 23rd for some protestors, and so far, they've had relative cooperation from authorities. During the day, there are around 30 people camped out at the The Federal Reserve, Willis Tower, and in Millennium Park. On nights and weekends protests can swell to a hundred or so.

Occupy Boston

Occupy Boston is one of the most successful of all the protests. Their master rally on Friday drew a crowd of around a thousand people, with strong numbers going up and down throughout the weekend. Today, the protest maintained a presence of 75-100 demonstrators in Dewey Square.

Occupy Los Angeles

Several hundred showed up for the inaugural weekend of Occupy Los Angeles and set up outside City Hall. The number has gone down to around 100 during the day, but they have a rally planned with the United Teachers of Los Angeles today at 4 PM PST. That should definitely give them a boost.

They have additional rallies scheduled throughout the week for those who can't stay all day.
